The Wood County Department of Job and Family Services Planning Committee is made up of twenty-one members. Each member is appointed by the Wood County Commissioners. The Planning Committee acts in an advisory capacity to the Commissioners on human services issues in the county.

The Planning Committee meets every other month to discuss federal, state and local human services issues that affect residents of Wood County. Additionally the Planning Committee provides an opportunity for members to update others on their interests/services. The Planning Committee is made up of consumers, business, clergy, and service agency representatives.
