Child Care

The Child Care program is designed to provide support to parents (legal custodians) who are working, or, attending training that will lead to work. The Child Care program is legislated through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and administered through the county agency of the family's residence.

A family's gross income is the basis for eligibility, which is currently at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Additionally, each family's gross income is the basis for determining their monthly share (co-pay) for the cost of their Child Care.
ELI Child Care has different eligibility criteria which your social worker can explain to you.
